A successful charitable giving program is an impossibility without the presence of trust. CreateHope realizes this and has spent the past eight years developing systems and processes that provide for complete transparency and confidence at every step of the distribution process. At all times the donors, the program facilitators and the recipient charities can see where the funds are in the process and are confident that the every penny is being managed in a fiscally prudent manner.

CreateHope recognizes that in today's world many modes of distributing charitable donations exist. With this in mind, we have built out processes to facilitate the distribution process through the following mechanisms:

• Fiscal Agent Account
• Donor Advised Fund
• Charitable Trust Account

Fiscal Agent Model

A client may select to establish a bank account for all donated funds to flow through and name CreateHope as a fiscal agent to that account. CreateHope would be authorized to manage the entire distribution process on behalf of the client. This model offers the client the utmost control over and transparency into the distribution process. The client maintains control over the funds at all times until receipt by the designated organizations. In this scenario all tax receipts must come directly from the recipient organizations

Donor-Advised Fund & Charitable Trust Account Model

A client may elect to establish a donor advised fund (DAF) or charitable trust account with a qualified charitable organization as the distribution mechanism for its program. These models offer immediate tax efficiency as well as centralized receipting for donors. In either scenario, the client will contract directly with the charitable organization for distribution services, service levels, associated fees, etc.

In either scenario, CreateHope offers technology and reporting services. Specifically, all contributions are recorded and tracked in the GivingStation. At the time of distribution, CreateHope provides the client-approved distribution report to the DAF/charitable trust. Once the corresponding entity distributes the funds to the designated organizations the distribution and banking is provided back to CreateHope and uploaded into the GivingStation for recordkeeping.
